By FAR, the best First Four in Tournament History. I think having it on Thursday with all 4 games on the same night is much better way to do it. I hope they keep it this way.
Good first night. We all deserve the most entertaining tourney of all time after missing out last year. I hope tomorrow delivers.
Mic Cronin is the 10th coach to win a tournament game for UCLA which is tied with Western Kentucky for the most all-time.
Agree, the all-in-one-day is better for First Four.
I assume they'll return to regular Th-F-Sat-Sun format for 1st round next season, instead of F-S-S-M? ... if so FF could be all on Tuesday.
If that is the case, I vote for Wednesday instead of Tuesday.
Travel time makes that difficult. It was possible this year with everyone being in Indianapolis. Normally these being in Dayton requires a travel day in-between unless you out all these games in regions that play Friday.
Agree, that's better than Tuesday. Avoids a gap between that round and Round 1. All the First Four winners could be scheduled to play on Day 2 (Friday). (I think it has been split in the past -- 2 winners from Tuesday play Thursday, 2 from Wednesday play Friday).
They put all of the First Four winners on Saturday this year. That is easy enough to schedule a day in-between.
Cant believe they dont have curtains at Hinkle. There seriously is sunlight coming thru and onto the court.
