Out of all the pandemic changes, I hope they keep the Sweet 16 on Saturday and Sunday when things return to normal next year. It just makes sense to be able to do 4 games each on Sat\Sun instead of trying to cram them into Thurs\Fri evenings as they did before, and then you can do 2 games each on Mon\Tues evening for the elite 8.
Tuesday to Thursday is too short of a turnaround in a normal year where you are traveling. Putting an extra week in between drags it out too long.
Even if they return to Thurs-Fri-Sat-Sun, I hope they maintain First Four all on one day.
Kinda torn on if I liked the 1st two rounds being on weekend and then Monday/Tuesday.
The Thursday/Friday start for that is more exciting. I still go to work but it's kind of the 'buzz' with some folks and everyone goes nuts over upsets.

Rafferty, Jackson, and Hill are very underwhelming. Just let the Jet, Wally, and the Round Mound of Rebound cover it all.
I, too, prefer the Thursday/Friday opening. If it returns to that, but they keep the second weekend S-Su-M-T, that's a big lag ... not sure what preference would be for the teams.
Main things will be TV/ad revenue plus the host cities and what's best for venue/entertainment/lodging. (Maybe that part is negligible how it overlaps a weekend).
Feels like 2000 where the NC is decided in the Elite 8. Seems like USC will have the best shot at derailing the Zags.
As much as the tournament has been strewn with upsets, there's still possibility we could end up with 1-1-1-2 in the Final Four.
