Honestly I just hope it’s not OU. Texas is gonna be a lot better than us next year no doubt. With the recent departures there’s a chance that ISU is in the same range as OU next year but Groves would be huge for them.

Yeah, as others have said, he committed to Shaka not caring about Texas at all. One of the QC TV stations carried a good interview last night but I couldn't find it. This link is not it.

Not sure I would qualify that as a big get.
He's from Canada so let's get him. Don't know much about him but he put up good numbers.
It is from the aspect that he's from Mpls and he had offers from Creighton, Dayton, Florida State, Ohio State, San Diego State, TCU and Vanderbilt.
Would almost have to imagine a guy like that has something lined up already
Being a DII AA are every bit the accolades as 5 stars in high school. Now how will his game translate to the next level with a new coach and system is the same question of every recruit starting somewhere new. But make no mistake....the guy can play.
He should have stayed at eastern Washington. Never has a man looked more eastern washington than that youngster.
Just speculating- Buzz’s top assistant, Jamie McNeilly, who has been with him since the Marquette days and has coached in the Canadian National program, is rumored to be headed to Minnesota for their 3rd spot. If so, this kid may show up on the Gophers radar. McNeilly has recruited a number of Canadian kids over the years. It will be interesting to see- I don’t believe he’s been officially hired at Minnesota.
