Why does Matt LeFleur hate Aaron Rodgers so much anyway? I wouldn't blame Aaron if he decided to walk away. I sure as h*** hope he doesn't, but wouldn't blame him at all.

First you draft a QB in the first round instead of getting Aaron some help.... and then you take the ball out of the league's MVP's hands in your final drive and instead put the game into the hands of your atrocious defense to stop the all time NFL GOAT from getting a 1st down.

I'm sorry, but that was beyond idiotic. There's a VERY good chance you aren't going to ever get the ball back again by kicking the FG there.... and that's exactly what happened. I had no faith in GB to stop TB from getting a 1st down.... but Matt LeFleur did for some stupid reason?

A field goal puts TB in the position to run out the clock, not trying to score. Because of that, Green Bay put themselves in a position to make a stop and give the ball to their HOF QB to win the game, not just tie it.

I'd rather they went for it, but either way, GB needed a stop, no matter how many points they scored (3,6, or 8) . That's what I mean. No matter what GB they needed a stop, which in my opinion they got.

It's easier to stop a team from going down the field and kicking a FG than it is to stop them from getting a first down or two.

And not only did they take a QB in the 1st round, but one that wasn't even considered a "sure thing" by anyone you talked to. And sure enough..... he's looked absolutely awful this whole season in practice from everything you hear. He's basically a bust already from what you hear.

Yes. Of course. But you’re forgetting the part where they have to score on 4th and 8, THEN get a 2 point conversion. Then stop Tampa Bay from getting a FG. It’s certainly subject to debate, but you make it sound like the TD/2 point conversion was automatic.

I don't get why so many people are hung up on kicking it vs. going for it on 4th. Both required the Packer's D to get a stop in order for GB to win the game. In either scenario, this call would have defined the game.

If you don’t get it, Tampa likely ribs 3 times and pints and you get the ball back at mid field, pretty hard to put the ball in the air at your own 5 yard line with a rattled Qb that had 3 picks

And in the other scenario you first have to make the FG.... then kick it off and pray they don't return it very far (which they already had some big returns in the game already), and then you have to stop the all time NFL GOAT from getting a first down, and then you have to still go the entire field and still need a TD.... a FG does you no good.

I get the thought process, kind of, but the part I absolutely HATE is the idea that you're taking the ball out of the MVP's hands on the 8 yd line..... and not knowing if he'll ever have another chance to get his hands on the ball again.

You have to think that might be your last chance on offense in the game.... so it's now or never. Unless you feel like your defense is unreal...... but GB's is FAR from that.
