Was a flag and yes there were some missed earlier. Biggest thing I can't get over is kicking the FG

All that great season for nothingGreat season for Rodgers with homefield down the drain.
Yep there were just some bizarre coaching decisions in this game from the Pack. Going for two (yes it should have been successful, but your guy just drops it) was strange with that much time left in the game. And taking the FG to get within 5 was one of the dumbest things I have ever seen. Either way you needed a TD, and I will take Rodgers making a play on 4th and Goal all day. Even if they miss the 2-point conversion to tie, it's now 31-29 and you STILL are in the exact same spot with your defense needing to make a stop. I am still sitting here scratching my head at some of the decisions.I hate that call. You've still got to find the end zone again even with the fg.

Part of me wishes he'd have ran it on 3rd, he might not have gotten in but he'd have at least gotten to the 2 or 3.
A LOT better than 50/50 - I think an easy TD. Hope someone has asked him about it.Looking again maybe better than 50/50 he gets in. It was definitely my instinct that I wanted him to run.
The DBs would have had to change direction.
Also looks like AL would have had "automatic jersey pull PI" if they threw it to him. ;-)
No way he makes it JPP would have ran him down around the 4 yard line.A LOT better than 50/50 - I think an easy TD. Hope someone has asked him about it.
Ya i'd feel a lot better tied up giving the ball back to brady, than relying on your defense to get the stop with enough time to march back down the field for the win. I feel like the logic is ok with 5 minutes left, but not 215.The field goal was dumb.
That being said, after they let TB get away with that ****, especially on Lazard, I am now in with my first ever conspiracy theory, that the NFL is fixed. They want Brady in Super Bowl at home and do not want two teams from Midwest playing in it.
I don't get why so many people are hung up on kicking it vs. going for it on 4th. Both required the Packer's D to get a stop in order for GB to win the game. In either scenario, this call would have defined the game.
Of course you would. But they had to get 8-10 yards on 4th down PLUS a 2 point conversion.Ya i'd feel a lot better tied up giving the ball back to brady, than relying on your defense to get the stop with enough time to march back down the field for the win. A field goal puts TB in the position to run out the clock, not trying to score. Because of that, Green Bay put themselves in a position to make a stop and give the ball to their HOF QB to win the game, not just tie it.1 scenario could potentially require TB to score to win, the other required TB to only have to get 2 first downs. It was a horrible decision by the Packers coach. You leave the ball in the hands of your HOF QB and it shouldn’t be a question.
what does a FG gain you there?
