NBA: ***Official 2019 NBA Playoffs Thread***

Clippers are the last type of team a 1 seed wants to get. Passionate, chip on shoulder and they weren't playing like an 8 seed in the weeks before the playoffs.

This is a year where I'd take the 5, 6, 7, and 8 seeds and flip them upside down in terms of how they are playing right now. (although 5 played maybe just a little better than 6)

GSW should prevail but it's definitely more work for them than an 8 seed on a given year.

Agreed. It was the opposite in the East where the Magic and Pistons were just happy to be there. Easy warmups for the Bucks and Raptors.

The Pistons would have competed if they had a healthy Blake Griffin. He was great this year. Pretty much drug that Pistons team to the playoffs.

This Raptors-Sixers series is going to be good. I would love to see Kawhi put the Sixers in their place.

When it comes to the Nuggets, I am oddly satisfied whether they win or not tonight. We have our guy in Jokic. A championship is unlikely but I think we’re going to have a couple shots at it over the next 10 years.

Yeah, I'm a 6ers fan and will admit they are not a likable bunch. They act like they are 4 time defending champs and God's gift to the NBA.

He is a borderline top 5 player if he already isn't and younger than many that would be considered top 5.

Best passer on the planet right now who happens to be a big 7 footer who can shoot from deep.

He imposes his will on people. He isn’t a 6’10 250# guy. He is a 7’0 270# angry Serbian with the passing skills of Magic Johnson.

He really is a pretty unique player. Sabonis is the only strong 7 footer I've ever seen with his play making abilities and we didn't ever really see him in his prime in NBA games.

Like you're saying you could look at Dirk, LeBron or Durant and their skills at nearly 7 foot but they aren't built like centers and as legendary as they are they don't have Joker's passing ability and vision. Magic is actually a great comparison for the level of court vision he has and style of passes.

It was frustrating early in this series seeing the officials treat him like a crappy rookie and giving DeRozan calls as if he were LeBron or MJ.

You hear them just say the Nuggets are the 8th youngest playoff team in NBA history? That's a nice thing to hear about a 2 seed.

Nuggets should have won game 1.

The Nuggets should be up 20 in Game 7.

This is a ******* joke.

10 point lead with 10 minutes to play. This will get interesting down the stretch. Monte playing well with 7 points in limited minutes.
