***Official 2019-2020 Transfer Thread***

I can’t wait until we are playing in the tournament next year and see the 180 from the fan base.
Might want to hold off on that until we actually land someone. With the exact roster we have now we're not getting in. If Turner and DeJulius come though then maybe

If we get Turner and Dejulious, whom for conversation sake we'll say is eligible next year, are we a tournament team?

Dejulius
Bolton
Turner
Solo
??

I would say 45% chance? And that's our A+ option at this point. I really hate being in this spot.

Prohm does well with 3+ nba players on the team. He has done very poorly with 1-2. I'm over generalizing, but just to stay with it, how many on that squad are likely nba material?

I’m confident Johnson will be a solid starter. Blackwell and/or Dubar have potential to start at the 3. The more good transfers the better obviously but the biggest need is PG.

DeJulius(or Turner/Carton/etc.)Walker
Bolton/Jackson
Dubar/Blackwell
Johnson/Foster
Young/Conditt/Foster

As another poster said, the Big 12 coaching staffs are crazy good. All of the following coaches have reached a Final Four or Elite 8:

Self
Drew
Beard
Weber
Kruger
Huggins
Smart
Dixon

Boyton and Prohm haven’t been passed the Sweet 16. With the talent influx at Okie State for next year (including the #1 overall recruit), Prohm might be the lone wolf to not make it to the 2nd weekend of the Dance. I do think Prohm is a great guy and a good coach, but I don’t think there is a conference top to bottom with as many great coaches as the Big 12 and this is why I think it’s a struggle.

It would come down to how good the freshmen and Tre are probably. Thats a good chunk of our bench so I guess that's not that big of a hot take, but last year the biggest issue with our roster is that after Hali, Bolton, and Solo at times we just had nothing.

Okie State won't even make the tourney next year let alone get past the first weekend.

It is going to be very difficult to make the tourney if Solo starts all year. It is crucial for GC/ XF to step up and start at the 5.

It would be awesome if Solo could buy into a role of 15-20min off the bench.

How namy scholarships does Marquette have available? If Jamarius Burton commits there before Turner does that fill their scholarships?

Prohm has made it to the 2nd weekend. Sweet 16 his first year.

Shhh. Truth only has an inconvenient place in an agenda

I was worried we weren’t going to get to the better fan that doesn’t accept mediocrity. Thank goodness someone came through
