Wtf that’s weird. They were probably Georgetown’s two best players when I watched them play once or twice this year.

Prohm was after Akinjo out of High School, and had an official visit scheduled. I fully expect ISU to reach out.

Yes please. It’ll be interesting to see if ISU reaches out because Prohm has mentioned he wanted to get more length on the perimeter. Taking Akinjo would technically do the opposite because we’d have a backcourt of Akinjo, Jackson and Bolton but if you’re wanting to take the best available, Akinjo is worth a call.

More on Josh LeBlanc's transfer and involves other players still with the team. Akinjo not linked to any legal issues from what's been reported so far.

Early speculation seems to be Akinjo is headed back to the West Coast. Gonzaga, USC, ASU, UCLA, Cal all interested.

With how bad 3 point shooting has been this Season so far this dude should be priority #1.

Sounds like Georgetown is a clown fiesta. Do not want.

It has been reported that Akinjo's transfer was a long time coming and unrelated to Leblanc and a couple of other players still on the team legal issues. May not matter considering the programs on the WC rumored to be after him, but shouldn't be a reason not to want ISU to reach out.

ISU hosted him on an official out of HS and iirc were in a real good spot. He committed to Northwestern but they revoked his admission.

Had a lot of good offers out of HS (Louisville, SMU, Cincy, Illinois)

prohm is going to need a job-saving big time baller transfer for next year, maybe two.
While I don’t think Prohm is a great coach, I also don’t see him being axed any time soon. If he shows any improvement next year it’ll be enough to keep his job. Remember Rhoads went 0-9 in the big 12 and still kept his job
