Kier is announcing his top 5 tomorrow. I know that Nolley is announcing tomorrow with Georgia expected to be the favorite could play into Keir decision.

@jakeweingarten George Mason graduate transfer Justin Kier will virtually visit Georgia this evening, he told
@Stockrisers In addition, he plans to cut down his list to five tomorrow.

Curious on Georgia scholarship situation, I believe they are probably the favorites to land Perry as well

If we don’t go after Tyler Harris I’m just going to assume Prohm has mailed it in.

Ironically I was pissed off when we passed on Harris because we got a skinny three star point guard not heavily recruited. Ooops
Remember me being the same exact way, we took Haliburton’s commitment and that basically showed we weren’t going after Harris anymore. I remember being borderline pissed.

Hopefully Chris can provide an update on Tyler Harris. These things change so frequently hard to have a feel for how things will land in the end. Prior relationship helps you would think

You would think we would have a leg up with Harris because of the relationship before. Would be a great sit out guy.

I was listening to CW's Sat pod with Bloom and they touched on recruiting telling everyone not to panic and it is early in the process with new guys still becoming available. He mentioned he'd have some info on transfers Monday.
Not sure if CW was already tipped on Harris or just the staff had some more options they were on, though the timing aligns pretty well. Some optimism on the spring for any of us fans who are upset with the past two weeks of misses especially with Blum liking the freshman coming in (especially Dubar).

We want news, but I will give the staff credit because they are going after some big fish who are in demand. Don’t want to snag guys just for warm bodies. I think Harris and Flowers could be solid adds if they come on board.

When is Flowers announcing this week?

Way up there
So I was trying to think of how the Harris recruitment played out the first time around. We took a commitment from Tyrese but didn't cool on Harris IIRC? But maybe he cooled a bit on us bc we took another PG and didn't have an open schollie at the time? Jakolby Long leaves, opens up a schollie but Harris ended up being a late signee after Memphis hires Penny? Was he not a take for us bc we didn't want a class of 5 frosh? I believe Long's schollie went to Nixon so we still wanted a PG. It never seemed like Harris had ill will towards us and that we still would have taken him but his recruitment was pretty quiet from Jan until he committed to Memphis. This is just kind of my rambling memories of what happened. Anyone with a better recollection?

You pretty much have it summed up. Tyler took his official for a Sept with many national media expecting a commitment which didn't come. CSP eventually ramped up his recruitment of Tyrese, offered and he visited and took the scholly in Oct. That was the PG for the class adding to Wigginton.
Tyler and Lomax were two PG from Memphis who would always have stayed home and been Tiger if not for Tubby being the coach. It became very apparent that Tubby would be fired and Penny was going to take over late in the fall. Lomax signed with WSU and Tyler elected to wait til the spring to sign. ISU still recruited him through out but when Penny got the job Lomax (got out of his LOI) and Tyler became Tigers.

That is how I recall it at least. If I have any details off please feel free to add.
