Now listen, I'm not purporting shadiness here, but how on earth does a college kid go from entering the transfer portal to trimming down to a top 3 in a matter of 24 hours? His decision making abilities are far greater than my own at that age. If his on-the-court decision making matches, get him signed!
Of note, Kier's stats from this past year should be mostly disregarded. Kier was injured (stress fracture in his foot) and took a medical redshirt this year after playing hurt for 9 games.
In 2018-2019 Kier averaged 14.5 ppg, 6.5 rbs, and 3 asts.
Shooting splits: 47 FG%, 37% 3PT, 77% FT.
This would be a great addition. Doesn't solve our problems, but certainly makes us better.
6’5” 220 lb guard. 32% 3P shooter. He did average over 6 reb/gm last year. His rebounding % would have been second on our team.
We're not getting a Deandre Kane type player that's going to be able to score 25 a game and save next season. We need 2 or 3 quality guys that can gel well with the talent we already have.
I did not obviously mean 25 a game lol. That'd be ridiculous. I meant we shouldn't be looking at each guy we're getting individually and think "this guy is going to be our savior next year". Each guy needs to bring something different and if each can provide quality minutes, we should be sitting well for next year.
Man Iowa State is getting undercut with all these guys. Up till the final day Iowa State looks to be sitting really good then boom a big old **** you gets dropped on ISU. I wonder what the hell is going on? I know Cyclone Basketball was bad last season but they were not this bad.
The field is always a strong bet.
