Hopefully that's the case. Heaven forbid it's because Lard isn't coming back or something. It's been pretty quiet on that front, which hopefully means nothing more than there's nothing to report.

The thought crossed my mind, but Dixon is a 6'1" PG/SG. I would think if the staff was worried about Lard they would be looking a true post player to come in. Granted Dixon would sit this year in either case, but Dixon seems pretty redundant with Nixon skill set and eligible next year.
Though it could give Prohm the option of a Nixon/Dixon back court which would confound the commentators.
