If he graduates, I don't think there is anything they can do about where he transfers. It really is "Free agent" style then. He and the school both honored their commitment at that point.

Believe he still has to be released by Baylor to go to conference schools bc the conference requirement is separate from the NCAA rule.

6-2 guard. 16.7 ppg 4.2 rpg 4.8 apg. Sit 1 play 3. MAC freshman of the year. Went to HS in the Kansas City area (Shawnee Mission)

Bizarre numbers. 4.8 TO a game. 1.4 blks a game for a 6'2" guy. 21% from 3. His brother plays at Miami (OH) as well.

I couldn't even find a 247 page for Weathers. That's an impressive freshman year for a guy that doesn't seem to have been recruited much at all.

Well we know Biefeldt went from Michigan to Indiana and Spike Albrecht went from Michigan to Purdue. So is their conference different, or are you saying they just got released to conference schools, too?

Intraconference transfers are normally against conference rules for both Big 10 and Big 12. Michigan didn't want either guy

I've been seeing some top 100 freshmen reopen their recruitment with new lists coming out. Also some listed contacts for grad transfers and sit-out transfers. Yet to see our name mentioned on any of those. I must be getting anxious or impatient because I WANT TO SEE OUR NAME for one of these guys. lol It amazes me how quick some of these guys choose their new team on just one visit, but as some have indicated, perhaps they were a done deal before even announcing.

We will get one. I think prohm will be more cautious with the non grad transfers. You can take a grad transfer and just hope they work out. The two and three years to play guys need more consideration

Nate Schmidt and him follow each other on twitter. 2 year grad transfer is unique.

Career numbers of 7.6ppg 2.7rpg and 1.5 apg. For comparison, Bowie averaged 8.3 5.2 and 0.8 at NIU. Nader was 11.4 4.7 and 1.0.

I've been waiting for this. If he were to be in his freshman form, he'd be a good get. He played very well in a blowout loss against Kane and Co, and unfortunately also blew out his knee iirc. He had a season ending injury the following year, too, I think.

Edit: He had 19 and 6 in 26 minutes before injury against us NYE 2013. Also had 13 against Nebraska. He was really explosive for a pg back then while still shooting well.

The brothers from KC are intriguing, but I wonder if they try to stay together and walkon at KU?
