NBA: ***Official 2017-2018 Playoffs Thread***

It's not, nor is it really close. This Cleveland team is incredibly flawed, their defense was still terrible tonight, Boston got a ton of open shots but just missed. This wasn't a great basketball game by any stretch. LeBron's Miami teams were much better, the first Spurs-Heat series (especially the last two games) was some insanely high level basketball. Those Miami teams were terrific defensively, this Cavs team is still a mess defensively. But grinding out a road win in a game seven with this team is just another impressive point on LeBron's resume.

I'm not saying this Cleveland team is better in the sense that they're more talented. I'd even say they got a big break by not having to play a full Celtics team.

I think they play really well as a unit though. Those Miami teams were good and all but their talent was above the team chemistry from an outside perspective.

Yeah I fully admit that this season has made me start siding with LeBron in the LeBron/Jordan debate, and I'm a huge Bulls/Jordan fan. LeBron's mere presence on a team makes them great. Hopefully Cleveland can add a key piece this off-season and keep him around.

As for the game tonight, I think Houston wins.

Getting this Cavs team to the finals may be Lebrons biggest achievement. It’s basically Lebron with 2 role players and the rest are sixth man at best on most teams.

The guys on ESPN said it best last night that even when someone else scores Lebron created it. They were showing how many times throughout the game he drew 4 if not 5 defenders as he drove and created opportunities that the defense couldn’t recover from. I don’t think the Cavs stand a chance vs either West team but Lebron has almost single handedly taken them to the finals. His stretch of continuous finals appearances will most likely never be matched.

And he could go somewhere next year where it's less of a pull.

I was almost hoping for the cavs to not make it so it forces Lebron to make a move. Im hoping for multiple super teams for the last years of his career. Since super teams are here to stay why not have multiple ones that include Lebron and make for some amazing basketball especially in the playoffs. I’d love to see him end up with a team with young talent that just needs another piece like the Twolves, Sixers, or Raptors. Those teams will never happen but it would be fun.

Klay Thompson picking up 3 fouls this early is just a ruse to keep the game close

How was that foul on the banked in three not in the act of shooting?
