NBA: *** Official 2015 NBA Playoffs Thread ***

Example of worst call in basketball lately. Jones pump fakes to get Mirotic in the air, Mirotic lands without touching him, then jones then hurls his shins into Mirotic as hard as he can creating contact for no shooting reason after his shot. Foul.

Next play Jones has some light but visible contact on Mirotic's arm during the actual shooting motion. No foul.

I get that it was bang bang there, but to me in that situation if you just put your hands down like that and attempt to get contact that should be a blocking foul. He wasn't trying to defend at all, just to take a hit.

LeBron wasn't out of control and he was moving at a 45 degree angle to the hoop.

Charges should be obvious and I really hate the notion of sliding under someone in an attempt to draw one or putting your hands down and falling over to draw one.

Of course I'm only bring that up here because I want the Cavs to win, but I've always thought that. Especially with the Craft fiasco and the Niang KU incident.

Rose got to the spot first, then LeBron ran into him. Thats a charge.

Not really. It was pretty simultaneous and obvious Rose was using his body to try to stop LeBron. Maybe he'd have gotten the call if he actually tried to defend him.
 
I guess I have no idea what 'clear path' means. Scrap the rule if that's not a clear path to the basket.

He didn't have possession so by definition of the rule it isn't.

But yeah that situation should be called as a clear path, obviously. That's the spirit of the rule.
 
Of course people who think this is bad never saw 90's knicks bulls or anything regarding the early 90's Pistons.
