You almost lost to a Hawks team playing Mike Scott, Shelvin Mack and Kent Bazemore big minutes. Golden St is historically great this year, Cavs might get one at home but have a hard time seeing it go past five.
Their bench is garbage, there was a reason Jones fell out of the rotation around the conference semis each year in Miami, he's not good enough to play beyond that. With the Cavs injuries they have five guys they can trust if Irving is out, I feel bad for LeBron.
This is what separates Michael Jeffrey Jordan and Kobe Bean Bryant from James. I don't think LeBron has been in great cardio shape that MVP's and Superstars should be in during his career. This is the same guy that couldn't adapt and quit when the AC went out in Game 1 last year(while Ray Allen was busting his tail off in his late 30's), and in overtime tonight he falls flat on his face in OT with turnovers and (le)bricks. If LeBron wants to be a top 5 player in NBA history, he has to finish these games. This overtime performance is unacceptable for his 'Mount Rushmore' of NBA Greats he refers to. He is not in that group.
That's what everyone said before the series and let's be honest, the Cavs had control of that game most of the way. Some bad 50/50 calls and situations and led to OT where things unraveled.
I just wish Kyrie would've finished healthy.

2 games against Golden State this season, 2 season highs in points. Just a horrible matchup for James...
44 points on 38 shots, I think most coaches will live with that. And he took a lot of turn arounds and fade aways. You have to live with making him take tough shots, if a great player is going to shoot that much, they're going to get their points.
He also chucked up 4 or 5 at the end of the game that skewed that a bit.
James had a great game overall, but I agree that he took far too many fadeaways.
It does look like his jumper/rhythm is back.
No matter if your going for cavs or warriors or even if you're not an nba fan, this was a fun game and is going to be a fun series.
This wasn't the same Cavs team that we saw the rest of the year. Lebron's assist numbers were low in this game but it's not because he wasn't passing. His teammates were standing around waiting for him to do something, and if Lebron did pass them the ball they didn't want to shoot. That's not Lebron at his best. He needs everyone to be moving so when he is in iso and everyone is focused on him, he can suck in the defenders and pass for an open three or layup.
Lebron scored 44% of the team's points on 40% of the team's shots, while having to force it, never having an open shot, and constantly getting hacked.
This is how the Cavs have played all playoffs. LeBron is averaging more isos per game than any other team. Their best offense has been getting offensive rebounds, LeBrons efficiency numbers are the worst since his first year in the playoffs.
