It is also how Harden drives. When he drives he presents the ball out in front of him, enticing defenders to swat at it, then he moves the ball, drawing contact on his arms getting an easy and obvious call. LeBron is more traditional in that he tucks the ball into his body, lowers his head/shoulders on a drive proctecting the ball. So most of the contact against Harden is obvious hacks, and most of the contact on James is harder to officiate body contact.

Harden is one of the best I have ever seen in enticing defenders to foul him, because the ball is such an open target on his drives.

This. James knocks people back with his shoulder more than MJ/Kobe ever did...and a lot of those are fouls. But part of that is LeBron is a physical force who can get to the rim like that on anybody. MJ/Kobe got fouled slashing or posting up.

Definitely, and refs are much more willing to call contact on the arm than on the body, and when your arms are extended like that it is a lot more obvious.

So the contact LeBron draws is harder contact more on his upper arms which are the part exposed, and obviously he's not going to react as strongly as Harden would with his arms extended.

It doesn't make the fouls on LeBron not fouls, Harden is just good at playing the refs and making it obvious. I'm sure we'll have some examples today.

Lol rose doesn't get an and 1 there but Gibson gets the ticky tack.

Yeah cause Cleveland fans never boo during home games.

Booing one player whenever he touches the ball for an entire series is different than just regular booing.

I've only seen the former in high school basketball games or after a college player threw an elbow or some kind of dirty play and even then it only lasts a little while.

Cavs need to have more active hands as they are again letting them play in the paint. Take a couple swipes and force a turnover for the love of god.

You realize that Noah gets booed 100% of the time he touches the ball in Cleveland right. Was happening even when the LeBron bandwagon dumped them for a few years. I understand why they hate him but they boo every time he touches the ball.

Wonder why Taj Gibson has a completely different rule book than every other player so far.

I have no idea if that's true but Noah did take an enormous **** on Cleveland and has repeatedly stood behind his statement so it would make a little more sense.

LeBron has done nothing to Chicago like that.

Lebron hasn't said anything but he has been the star on a team his entire career that has been a direct rival of Chicago.

You post a lot a about the Cavs to have never watch a Chi @ Cleveland game. I know why they boo Noah but they boo every time he touches the ball. Your post was hilarious given that obvious item.

I don't have cable and Bulls games are nothing special to me personally. I probably wouldn't have noticed if they hadn't played 4 games straight against each other. I don't remember it but it's not like Noah is a primary ballhandler either I guess.
