Rite of passage for a young team on the way up. I bet they steal one in cront of a boisterous home crowd in Portland but this one will be over in five.

Pacers/Wiz and OKC/LAC tonight. I'll take the Wizards at home. I assume that since they now have some margin for error again, the Pacers will take every inch of it in DC and leave us all guessing at what the hell is wrong with them...again.
I guess I like the Clips tonight just because of home court, but I really don't have a good feel for this series at all. KD is the best player on the floor but the Thunder have no idea what they're going to get from everyone else, and Scott Brooks can't keep up with Doc Rivers in the coaching department.

This style of play favors Indy. They can grind out an ugly win. Not sure if the Wizards can find a way.
Is it just me or have the playoffs just about completely tanked?
There were some absolutely stellar games in the first round (and a whole bunch of dogs-looking at you Pacers/Eastern Conference).
Now, I check the scores and don't bother to watch.

Phew...monster comeback for the Pacers tonight. Huge night from Paul George. That looked more like the guy being mentioned as an MVP candidate back in January.
Not IMO, I honestly think the Thunder-Clippers series is one of the best possible match ups for an early round. There is so much intensity and competition that creates for golden entertainment. Just wish I could get through a game without hearing a mention of Sterling or Magic Johnson and his interest on the topic.
There haven't been as many buzzer beaters or OT sessions, but the intensity has ratcheted up a notch. Part of the reason the Portland/Houston series and Clips/Warriors series were so fun to watch was the utter lack of interest in playing D by the eventual losers in those series. Now as we get deeper into the postseason several things happen. The high scoring, fun to watch teams like the Blazers and Wizards get stifled by good defensive teams, and the really good coaches run circles around the so-so guys like Wittman, Stotts and Brooks. So yeah, the second round hasn't been quite as thrilling as the first round but the games are very intense.
The second round may only have one really good series, but it's setting up for a pair of great conference finals matchups. Indy-Miami and San Antonio vs either OKC or LA is the are the matchups everyone has been waiting for. I'll gladly trade a somewhat boring second round for a terrific conference finals.
I'm not watching at the moment but just checking the gamecast stats it looks like Lebron is getting to the rim at will; only two attempted threes out of his thirteen attempts. Is that how it's going?
He's just hitting everything from all over the floor. It is really crazy ridiculous. The rest of the Heat team is sucking balls.
