NBA: *** Official 2014 NBA Playoffs Thread ***

Miami is turning into Cleveland 2.0.

I don't think this Miami team would beat them even with a better LeBron. Bosh is the only starter quality player out there and it's been like that all post season. I know they can't get rid of Wade but he needs to have a Ginobli type role. This is just not a very well put together roster. No PG kills them. Neither can play defense and neither can score.

I don't really agree, they have a below average nba coach and too many fans confuse most talented player of all time with GOAT.

This roster is insanely talented, to have players like Allen and Lewis as role players practically never happens. Wade has lost his spring and the zebras no longer fix series for him like his early years but the roster is still stacked, it's not talent.

I know they have interest in Kane and I have no doubt he'd give them more than Chalmers. Kole actually had his moments off the bench.

That is the only team that I wouldn't be rooting for Kane on. I really hope they don't pick him.

5 years ago talent maybe. They don't have an average perimiter defender outside of LeBron. Everyone else downright sucks. They don't have anyone that is good inside except for Anderson who give you nothing offensively. They don't have a PG. Ray Allen is a role player. Wade can give you 30 quality minutes in a 7 game series. I don't think they have talent currently.

I do agree with you that Spoelstra isn't very good though. I don't know why Haslem hasn't played and I have no idea why you don't run a backcourt of LeBron, Wade, Lewis and Allen all of the time. Lewis is the one guy who actually has looked like he may have something more than I thought.

Miami has no killer instinct.

What a waste of talent. The Bulls of the 90's would never lower themselves to get embarrassed back to back @ home

S.A about to go up 3-1.........

IMO, Kane, as he is today, makes this team 10-15 points better. He's essentially a mini-LeBron. He could bother Parker not to mention that I don't know if the Spurs have anyone to guard him besides Leonard which wouldn't happen for obvious reasons. Kane to the Heat makes way to much sense to actually happen. Also agree with you on Cole. I think he could be solid if he just had to come off the bench once in awhile.

^This. I said it earlier, but I really have no idea how Spoelatra landed that gig.

Defensively you're right, this is a ridiculous team shooting the ball the way Bosh has shot the past few years. Some of their lineups remind me of Hoiball where they have 5 lethal three point shooters. It ain't Cleveland...but I'd hire mike Brown before Alvin chipmunk.

I realize this is a Cyclone website, but just no. There are very few NBA players that could make this Heat team 10-15 points better (they just won two straight championships and another Eastern Conference championship for **** sake!).
