It's that time - the MLB Postseason is finally upon us.

What I find interesting about this year is every team has the potential to play their interleague rival in the World Series:

LA Angels/LA Dodgers (I-5 Series)
Oakland A's/San Francisci Giants (Bay Area Series)
Kansas City Royals/St. Louis Cardinals (I-70 Series)
Detroit Tigers/Pittsburgh Pirates (Rust Belt Series)
Baltimore Orioles/Washington Nationals (Beltway Series)

Discuss.

Prediction:

A's over Royals
Giants over Pirates

Angels over A's
Orioles over Tigers
Cardinals over Dodgers
Giants over Nationals

Angels over Orioles
Cardinals over Giants

Angels over Cardinals

I like it. Allow me?

A's over Royals
Pirates over Giants (Pirates are HOT)

A's over Angels (Angels only lead the season series by one game)
Tigers over Orioles
Cardinals over Dodgers
Nationals over Pirates

A's over Tigers (finally!)
Nationals over Cardinals (payback for 2012)

A's over Nationals

I actually think whichever team from the NL makes it to the World Series wins, and I could see any of them going, but I thought I'd pick the A's to cheer up Buster28. It was kind of funny to watch his increasingly sad posts in the Oakland A's thread over the past couple months.

Royals over A's
Pirates over Giants

Angels over Royals
Tigers over Orioles
Cardinals over Dodgers
Nationals over Pirates

Tigers over Angels
Nationals over Cardinals

Tigers over Nationals

I know its a homeristic pick, but there's just this "fitting" feeling in Detroit that of the last 4 years, they would go out and win the World Series this year when they've played they way they have all year.

i really hope the Royals win tonight

Tigers Dodgers WS Dodgers win

Come on Dodgers. Enough of the Big Game James talk now please Ernie, Cal, and Ron. Dude has won a whopping 2 games in his postseason career. Down 2-0 already.

These announcers are not good. So what if Soto goes out and talks to Lester after a 4 pitch walk when none of the pitches were close.

A little too jacked up. Not surprising after such a long playoff drought. As a Reds fan, I can remember them getting to the playoffs for the first time in 15 years in 2010. Promptly got no hit by Philly.
