I almost (almost) feel bad for what's about to happen to Cincinnati today. Remember what happened to Syracuse (and several opponents after) when we got hosed by the bad setup in Vegas? I think something similar will happen to Cincy and our next few opponents.

I don't have the positive vibes a lot of you do. While their record isn't good, they are very close to being undefeated in the league. Was tied with a minute or so left against #7 Houston, loss by 2 at WVU, lost at the buzzer at ranked UCF. They also only lost to a good Clemson team by only 3. And they just got their first league win over Colorado.

This league is brutal. I think this is an L but hope I eat crow.

Agree they are much better than their record. ISU is better but sheet happens in basketball.

I honestly think ISU loses, Cinci will play out of their minds and this team seems out of gas already, which seems normal for TJ led teams. Lipsey is hobbling, our defense is getting exposed by the B12, the offense has done its normal mid year regression.

Following up Tuesday's evisceration at Phog with a blowout W seems like the only way to feel good about today. A close win without improving any of the recent issues does not exude much confidence. An L of course would be painful.
