So I went and booked my own room at the Hilton Garden Inn Chelsea, didn't want to stay in a room with 4 others at the holiday inn.
Is anyone else staying here? Anyone going to Foleys tomorrow night?

I got my room for $160 right from Hilton. I tried bidding a few times with no luck. $160 is damn cheap for Manhattan.
Just got in. I'm posted up at the Grand Hyatt next to the Chrysler building if anyone is staying there.
We used www.airbnb.com and found a 2 bedroom across the river for $110. There are still some other options on that site that seem reasonable.
We were going to go. Airline and rooms didn't not seem way out of line for New York, but getting tickets seemed like a pain in the butt, so we decided not.
It is a shame that tickets are a pain for the school actually participating in the event.
Is Madison Square Garden really going to be sold out? Or are corporate sponsors given a bunch of tickets and they don't get used.

Just booked our flight for Sunday. Hoping we win to go to game on Sunday then Citi Field Monday, Wednesday & Thursday.
He did fine on the flight into Chicago until we hit a pretty hard section of turbulence. It felt like the plane dropped about 10 feet.
They won't all look the same, depending on whether they were originals, from the athletic department, etc... Freaked me out once during a NFL playoff game.
