NBA: Noah leaving the Bulls

Has it really been a great franchise since Jordan was run out of town and Reinsdorf proclaimed that organizations win championships and not players?

Well Jordan couldn't win a title in Washington without Reinsdorf.

Do they want him back? His shoulder just had major shoulder surgery and aren't his knees pretty bad too?
My guess is they only want him back if they can get him on a cheap deal. He's probably not a starter anymore and he certainly isn't a good fit for Hoiberg's offense. Good passer but almost no ability to score on his own. The Bulls need a major roster overhaul.

Just think that they fired a very, very good coach who frankly intimidated the entire front office. Betcha Thibodeau totally turns around the T-Wolves.
Don't get me wrong, I think he will help speed up the process for sure. But the T-Wolves were already getting turned around before he got there, he has some unbelievable pieces in place right now.

Speaking of, KAT should've been 3rd team all NBA. 18/10 as a rookie and he plays great D.

On the contrary, they should be begging Noah to return. Not only has he apparently forgiven Hoiberg for making up that story about him preferring to come off the bench, he's the unquestioned leader of the team. Someone has to keep Rose and Butler from killing each other and instead play together, and they both respect Noah.

This will kill any locker room morale that is left. Noah was the unquestioned leader of the Bulls under Thibodeau, played D like a maniac for him. Thibs knew that Forman and Paxson were incompetent, and they knew that he knew, so they fired him. So they hire Fred, who is intimidated by his own players, and holds no one accountable. Sad free-fall of a great NBA franchise...

Leadership has been a huge problem for the Bulls the past 6-7 years. Not really a ringing endorsement for Noah.

Coaching hasn't been the problem for the T-Wolves the last 20 years or so. The financial commitment to keeping their stars and signing FA's has been. Thibs will have no chance if they don't make the financial commitment to their young stars.

Noah was over paid and won't be missed. There are a lot of upgrades that are available in Free Agency at Center. These comments only hurt Noah's value in Free Agency not strengthen them.

They shouldn't get Noah back, the window to win with this group is slammed shut. They need to move on with a new core group and that won't include Noah. Noah was great but Thibs ran him into the ground, I would not want to do a long term deal with him.

If I was the Bulls I'd be listening to offers for Butler too. Would Boston's number three pick, a few late first rounders and one of the future Brooklyn picks be enough to move him?

Good. Now get rid of Rose. Once all of the dead weight is gone, the Bulls can actually make some moves to get the talent they need.

What free agent won't want to come play for a well run organization like the Bulls!

I agree the Bulls should move Butler. The 3rd pick and one of Jae Crowder or Avery Bradley should get the deal done. I think the Bulls should also listen to offers for Taj.

You mean after Jordan retired the second time, was 38 and probably 20lbs heavier than he should've been playing at?

Was there another time he played for Washington?

You were insinuating that he needed reinsdorff to win championships. He needed a time machine.

Epic fail by both of you considering Jerry Krause built the 3 peat and repeat 3 peat. Reinsdorf is a terrible owner and said Krause is the one that deserved to be in Hall over him last month.

Reinsdorf thought Rodman was a terrible idea and Krause went ahead and traded Bill Wennington for Rodman. Nuff said
