No NFL for Graham Harrell?

Agreed. Yet it seems the NFL has been so in love with strong arms and it just doesn't seem to translate. Jeff George, Jamarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, Byron Leftwhich, the list goes on and on of these strong armed QB's that were 1st round flops, or at least performed under expectations. On the other hand Tom Brady, Kurt Warner, Jeff Garcia, are some examples of QB's who are just used to timing routes, not stellar arms and are all pro bowlers.

Tom Brady doesn't have a good arm, really? I seem to remember him chucking a ball 60 yards all the way across the field to Randy Moss. He's got a gun. People say the Texas Tech offense is hard for QB's to learn, and yet every single QB they have puts up huge numbers, and yet not one of them has made it in the NFL.

He's a system quarterback, I'm not surprised he wasn't drafted.

I fail to understand what this means. Isn't any quarterback a "system" quarterback? Yeah, TT ran a different offense from that of USC and Georgia, but why is that held against him. Obviously me must not have impressed at the combine or in workouts, but this kid can throw a ball accurately. TT was not an offense that ran a lot of deep routes. They basically used their passing game as an extension of he run. This kid is good. The throw he made to Crabtree was on the money. If his arm isn't strong enough or you have evidence of a deficiency in his game, then thats fine, thats your opinion but saying he is a system quarterback is not a viable reason in my opinion. Sanchez and Stafford came from a Pro-Style offense which is definately a plus when making the transition but I do not think it's impossible for someone like a Graham Harrell or Colt Brennan to be successful. I think he will eventually makea roster and be a back-up for a long time.

You would think high school quarterbacks would see realize this when they are being recruited.... must be too busy looking at the stats instead

On the other hand, not everybody is cut out to be a pro. And maybe having a successful college career is the goal? Just never know...
