On College Football Live, he predicted that North Dakota State will upset the Clones on Sept. 3rd. Between him and **** Vitale, I wouldn't care if either of them died

Look at NDSU's upsets in the past few years.

Look how absoultely terrible (bottom 10) ISU has been in the last 3 years.

From the outside, I could totally see that being a game to pick.

Mark May isn't "Spot on"?

These announcers usually do a bang up job.

How many times has Mark May been "spot on" in picking Iowa as having an "outside shot' at winning the national title? In fact, in a "NCAA Tournament draw", he had them in the final four. Mark May is full of ****...

Can't we just accept he's just 'another' Hawk then???

Clones should win easily...I believe NDSU has had a couple pretty good players dismissed from the team.

After the past couple seasons are we to expect any love from anyone? Let them make their "Expert picks" and let the Clones prove em wrong.

I would add look at common opponents, which although not exact, is a better indicator than looking at random games over the past few years.
ISU 44 SDS 17
SDS 25 NDS 24

In addition, NDSU had four other losses last season to teams that were not exactly world-beaters. They were a little shakey. Apparently May expects them to be much improved, or he simply doesn't know what he's talking about...

NDSU had a bad season last year. They're usually a pretty darn solid FCS team. I don't believe that ISU will lose, however I can understand how outside appearances could lead folks to believe that such an outcome is a possibility.

As I recall, a few ISU fans like to reminds Hawkeye fans on Hawkeye Report that it is "possible" that UNI could beat Iowa. The flip side of that is also true ... it's also possible that NDSU could beat ISU. In fact, if NDSU's O is back to their normal form ... then there's a legit shot. Otherwise, ISU's O should be enough to blow them out of the water.

IMO the chances of UNI beating Iowa and NDSU beating ISU are virtually the same.
