NFL: NFL Offseason Thread

Tamba just agreed to take a pay cut. That's huge. Rumors to be interested in Revis as well. Not sure how they can afford that.

Dropping Bowe for sure but after that not sure where they can cut salary.

Is Jacksonville going to be good soon? And no, I'm not joking. They've got some talent on that team.

I think they're still at least a year away. I like Gus Bradley but I didn't think Blake Bortles showed much as a rookie. The most concerning thing was that he didn't seem to improve much as the season progressed. Contrast that with Teddy Bridgewater, who looked like he might be the real deal by season's end for the Vikes. I like the Jags to finish third in the AFC South behind Indy and Houston but ahead of the Titans.

A number of sources are confirming the 49ers are shopping Kaepernick on the trade block. The two specific teams rumored to have the most interest are the Bears and Eagles.

Seems fishy to me.

But if the Niners want to trade a 27 year old, cap heavy Super Bowl winning QB for Jay Cutler, a 32 year old cap heavy QB who's never won anything....I'd sure take the call.

Denver loses starting offensive lineman Orlando Franklin to San Diego.

ESPN saying Hoyer to Houston. I felt bad for the guy last year having to deal with the Johnny Football drama so hopefully it works out for him in Houston.

What are the Eagles up to? Byron Maxwell is not worth 10M+/yr.

Patrick Willis is retiring? Holy crap. That's huge.

Hate to be a niners fan, right now. They're regressing.

I think ESPN probably could've announced Maxwell to the Eagles last Friday.

I was actually watching this and said the guy would be going to the Eagles. Just watch around the 4 minute mark. He finds out he didn't choose the Eagles in "The Dating Game" and says "Can I change my mind?" and his overall reaction is disappointment. Which was different from the others.

Which makes him really stupid for not knowing where the PHILLY ******* CHEESESTAKE is from.

Jesus. Here's your daily dose of stupid courtesy of Stephen A. Smith.

Yup. And the entire First Take Crew agrees with him, which makes that show so unwatchable.

I do like some of Stephen A. Smith, but the dude cries racism every chance he gets, and that gets old.

There was another media guy who used to cry racism every chance he got, and then came out and basically said he realizes that calling everything racist as he'd done for years dilutes everything and makes it so we can't focus on real race issues.

Chiefs lose Hudson to Raiders for $9 mil per almost, that's a bunch.
