NFL: NFL Offseason Thread

HUGE get for the Vikes.....They needed a top market WR and they got it. Hopefully this helps AP to stay...If so the Vikes are going to make a run in the North. No one can really argue that.

Yes they could. Getting a good receiver is a nice step forward but Teddy is still a 2nd year QB, and just about all 2nd year QBs have plenty of question marks. Minnesota is closing in on Detroit and is still light years ahead of Chicago though, so I'll give them that.

I'm really hoping Wallace is able to help out. I like the trade.

Side note: Our DT Tom Johnson has been working out with AP and says he's in great shape.

Woah......

San Francisco 49ers LB Chris Borland tells Outside the Lines he is retiring from NFL after 1 season. Borland says, "I don't think it's worth the risk."

Woah is right. The NFL cannot be happy about so many players walking away from the game as of late. Willis, Worilds, Locker, and now Borland, a 2nd year player expected to be a rising star in the league. From a PR standpoint, the league won't do anything but wish these players well, but behind the scenes, I'll bet they're pretty unhappy about it. It's not a good look for the league to lose players like this.

Do Raiders fans expect to be good anytime soon or are they just living in a pool of misery? With moves like these I think it's the latter.

They're the Raiders, so I don't think they really think about it that way. They're just happy to wake up every morning alive.
