Further, you're right - we should continue using, and even revert even further back to, the 1980s look which not only today's kids couldn't care less about, but represents one of the worst eras of ISU football, if not ISU athletics as a whole.

I'm an old fart, but this uni is salty! Love the contrast, the glossy helmet and the angled piping on the right shoulder. I might suggest changing numbers on the jersey to cardinal with a gold outline.

Not usually a fan of camo, but ISU camo is pretty sweet. Can someone put a Camo Uni together that is similar to the volleyball teams this year? Unlikely to get made but would look pretty sweet to the youngins. You could go grey pant with a gray helmet.

I could live with doing a gray, although I wouldn't want to see it too often, it shouldn't be too dark, and I think there are plenty of alternate possibilities without needing to use it.

If they choose to use black, I'm not sure I wanna watch. At some point, you have to consider why anyone even establishes school colors.

I don't know about uniforms, but @CycloneUniforms on twitter made up a helmet that has a uniquely ISU feel to it that is absolutely beautiful.

I don't hate our current uni's but I hope Nike puts some effort into our next ones. They look like they come from the after thought dept. they have to get the cardinal right. To me it just looks to ketchupy.

I am all for grey, throwback or camo.
