New rock music

I grew up on 80s rock, however the "newer bands" I generally listen to today:

Shinedown, 3 Days Grace, Papa Roach, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, Halestorm, Theory of a Deadman, Volbeat, Sixx AM, Seether, Slash with Miles Kennedy, Evanescence, Skillet
Miles Kennedy's voice hurts my ears. Lzzy Hale has a great voice but I hate Halestorm's lyrics. Agree on the others and the Highly Suspect and Greta Van Fleet suggestions. And they're not new but I've been getting into Ghost lately.

Just curious why do you hate Halestorm's lyrics?

I like Ghost a lot.

I love all things Architects. Also a big fan of their use of BLEH!

Okay haha gotcha! Wasn’t sure where you were going with that!

I am specifically buying a $100 ticket to Sonic Temple (replacing rock on the range) next year for Architects, Parkway Drive and Gojira.

Of Mice and Men especially they have just gone full schlock rock lately.

I'll second the recommendation for Skillet. If I'm not mistaken, one of their songs was played around the time the team came out for the KState game. I think this one:
