New OL commit - Grant Hermanns

OL commits aren't sexy. But as we've seen through the first two games, we need all the help we can get. Welcome Grant!

He appears to have the frame to put on more "good" weight. Looking at the other offers he has I suspect the new ISU weight room and facility were a major factor. I like the wrestling background in linemen.

IMO, Hermanns was a good recruit with some good offers. In all honesty, there is a possibility for better IMO that we are in on really hard.

This staff is hitting the recruiting trail hard. They are relentless.

Typical mindset, we never want a recruit that we earlier really wanted, after they back out.

Hermanns decommitted because he really was not being pursued by the new staff. That is true of a few other recruits that had already committed. And there are some ISU commits who were contacted and asked to reaffirm their commitment right away. And some did.

Hermanns is a good recruit and has many options. He will find another school. We are going after some bigger fish pretty hard.

New staff hasn't reached.out to the majority of our previous commits for a reason. They feel they can get better. This is actually good.

I'm gonna be pretty disappointed if Azunna doesn't come to ISU. He's the star of the class so far.

The most important player in this class is either QB Justice Hansen or OG Oge Udeogu. Those players are at a postition of need for 2016. We all know how important 2016 is to this program as this could be one of the most talented ISU teams in history. Both players are at a position where we need depth.
