New ISU Coach Chuck Long?

That rumor says even more. An acquaintance huh? That could be like me calling a high school buddy that might happen to have met Chuck Long once and see if he thought maybe Long might look at this. Who really cares what acquaintances and all the other morons outside of JP and Mac think right now.
This is the arrogent ****ing attitude that really pisses me off. Check my rep level! Check my post! I'm a ****ing know it all! I give lots of money! I know players! blah blah blah, your just another person with no real inside knowladge spending hours a day behind a computer. Stop bashing anyone who's heard a rumor, just because you think you can see up JP's ***.
Agree Herbicide....I however want 4 of 4. Don't think it will happen, but I want him to prove me wrong. There is not a team left that we don't have the talent to beat. Time to prove he is the man that can get it done.

I'm not bashing him for hearing a rumor. I'm bashing him for posting that rumor on a message board with nothing to back it up. I stated nothing about my rep level and current vantage point to look up Pollard's ***.
If you come on a board with little or no rep level and little or no posting history and try to start an outlandish rumor you gonna get bashed. Plus he said he's heard "reports". Reports from where???

Could you imagine... even as a Packers fan, the thought of what that would do for the program nation wide is crazy.
Maybe I can help. I met Chuck Long once the summer before he became nationally recognized. We jumped his stalled boat on the Coralville Resovoir. I can give him a call and see if he's interested. Heck I've met Pollard too. Maybe I should give him a call first and ask him if he wants me to extend an offer.
Another side note from the boat jumping incident. Jonathan Hayes, the future NFL'er, and I locked arms to keep the boats from drifting apart. Ours was a big house-boat. I get a kick out of this story to this day, because little ole me just about pulled that big muscular tight end into the resovoir. I was pretty pumped about that. All the while Chuck Long was reclined in one of the seats with a few bikini-clad women crawling all over him.
