New Arrowhead?

Where is the parade in New Jersey, Foxboro, Santa Clara, Inglewood, etc......?
Exactly. There are a ton of teams that don't play in their namesake city.

Jets are in Jersey
Giants are in Jersey
Bills are in Orchard Park
Pats are in Foxborro
Dolphins are in Miami Gardens
Cowboys are in Arlington
49ers are in Santa Clara
Rams are in Inglewood
Chargers are in Inglewood
Raiders are in Paradise
Commanders are in Landover
Cardinals go by Arizona, but are in Glendale and not Phoenix

Cleveland is planning a new stadium in Brook Park.
Chicago is likely headed to Arlington Heights.

That is nearly half the league that plays outside the primary city limits. So enough of this nonsense that you can't call them the Kansas City Chiefs or that you couldn't use the existing parade route for a Super Bowl.

May b...but the cost of public resources to put on a parade like that is huge, and KCMO and Jackson County always split that bill...the Chiefs never payed for it. Can't imagine they would do it again without the Chiefs paying for it.

Looking back at those franchises thay have won super bowls more recently, the Pats parades were in downtown Boston, and the Giants parades were in the Canyon of Heros in lower Manhattan.

These ideas getting thrown out that things like this are a problem are just butthurt cope from Missouri people who for whatever reason care what side of the city the stadium sits on. Absolutely no reason why a parade couldn't keep the same route, and plenty of precedent for exactly that from other franchises.

What do you get out of the team moving a little closer to you, other than some Missouri vs. Kansas **** measuring contest?
Well, residents of Wyandotte and Johnson counties will have better opportunities to purchase Chiefs season tickets. Jackson county residents always have gotten first dibs when extra season tickets became available, or for playoff tickets.

Also, Missouri popping up DUI checkpoints on 435 after Chiefs games won't matter anymore.

Yeah, but how many of those cities were pitted against the City they lost to, and ended up costing that City millions in tax revenue? Maybe that has happened in those other cities, I don't know.

All I'm saying is that KCMO and Jackson County are not going to foot the bill for a parade of a team they get no benefit from anymore. I think the last Chiefs parade cost KCMO and Jackson County nearly a million combined.

And I'm not butthurt at all...I'm a Bears fan first. I have said all along I'm fine with the Chiefs and Royals going to Kansas where I can still enjoy them and not have to pay for it.

It would stay in KCMO. Is there a border metro anywhere that is as competitive as the KS Vs Mo rivalry. I've never seen anything like it.

Here's the thing Bryce, we didnt go there because he knew Kansas would pony up if Missouri didn't. Don't think for a second he wouldn't have considered it either(picking up and leaving the region). I do think Clark is loyal to KC but he's not a moron. He's a businessman and this whole thing is business. The sooner people realize this the better. I know you understand that but most don't. I feel like Clark was probably willing to lose more money staying in Jackson County than most would have too.
But if he were to leave because neither Kansas nor Missouri was willing to give him a new stadium that wouldn’t have been Kansas City’s fault. It would have been the Hunt’s and NFL’s fault.

Sure, people need to recognize that it could happen to Kansas City, but they shouldn’t be held ransom by those teams and the league either

My man, estimates show they spent a little over $2M on their most recent super bowl parade. Chiefs annual revenue is $600M+. I really don't think that is a worry for them whatsoever lol.

All I need to know is if this one will officially be named Camarohead.

You're probably right... Just noting they didn't pay for the last 3. From what quick looking I did, teams typically don't pay for parades.
