New AP Poll Dec 1

Is there a legit site that has SOS type of rankings?

I don't trust anything ESPN puts out for example.

I say we go to 7 conf games and say 5 creampuffs are a "good will" gesture to fund FCS and mid major programs. Only half kidding......
I don’t understand why people think reducing the number of conference games improve ISUs rankings, program TV money, fan enjoyment, or the football program in general in any way.

Why does this keep being said/posted?
I said it because of previous post. I’d assume b12 champion is guaranteed a spot in the playoff and was surprised to hear differently. Sounds like unless unlv pulls and upset we’ll be playing on the road first round?

This only works for SEC/B10, not us. As you saw from this week, we defeated a top 25 team and went up ONE place. ONE. If we had beat a directional doormat, instead, we probably had dropped position.

True statement - we were literally punished this year for surviving UCF. No SEC team would have been punished for such a victory.

Oh I was totally tongue in cheek. The major conferences should play at least 10 conf games. If we are going to have 16 team conferences teams need to play way more than just half their conf teams. 10 games would be enough to judge the best teams in the conference. There should never be 5 teams from one conference in the CFP.

Agree with this except I’ll say for posterity, I think SMU is in win or lose. Bama needs SMU to win to keep ACC a 1-bid league. Like bubble teams in the basketball tourney want mid-major locks to win their conference tourneys.
I’m often wrong. But I’m going to vainly bump this as a pat on my back
