Nevada At A Glance

Well, yea, but that is true of every team minus maybe 1 seeds.

2014 worried, 2015 thought it was better and didn't recognize ISU as the house of cards they were, last year I was desensitized.

Bilas said Nevada's big and guard are future pros, but I don't know much about them. Expecting a tough game. If it's not, great.

If there's one thing I've learned through all my years of watching the tournament, it's that anyone can beat anyone on any given day, unless you're a one seed. But I would not be shocked to see it happen sometime soon.

Wow, the UNLV fans on the MWC message board are still butt hurt. Amazing. One even said UNLV>ISU. L O L
 
I am normally right with Seth Davis. Back in the day, the 12 seed was 50% to win. I think the % has shifted way down recently. Plus, he has been way off on his picks.

Hope not over confident. UAB had a ISU lite team too and we know what happened.

Yep. A 2 or 3 getting dropped the first day is hardly even shocking any more and it has nothing to do with anything since some of the greatest coaches ever like Coach K and Izzo don't always have it figured out.

I think my 2014 worries were spurred by the 2001 debacle/high seed situation even though they were completely unrelated. The 2015 game wasn't new to ISU that season so it wasn't surprising, but still shocking if that makes sense.

I think if things don't work outThursday, it would be crucial to remember this kind of thing happens to the best of them, and as a fanbase we can't allow for it to setback the accomplishments of this specific group.

This group is only adding to their legacy at this point. A great season, a win in the Phog, storming into 2nd place with a great late season rally and winning it all in KC. Not to mention, the stellar career that these kids have had.

My only fear is not getting to see these guys play in an ISU uniform again, and whenever that happens, it will be too soon.

They could win the whole thing and it would still be sad to see it all come to an end in a similar way that senior night is sad even with a win.
