I really hope MC is our version of Coach Snyder. Make a lot of money in a town that adores you, that you can raise and coach your kids in sports, etc. (which is very unique by the way)

Ya like wtf? This has been one of the best weeks in Cyclone memory. Frost got canned in embarrassingly pathetic fashion. We beat Iowa in Kinnick. Stoops and Fran get the most epic troll job of all time. What am I missing here?
I’ve heard from 2 different people that Campbell is concerned about his kids growing up feeling privileged or living an excessive lifestyle. I think that’s a very reasonable concern. We are such a “more is always better and you can never have enough” culture. Not everybody buys in to that though.
This is following a basketball season with the rare Sweet Sixteen appearance by a team that played their asses off that people couldn't handle.
Now we have to endure a young but talented football team potentially have a really fun season!?
It's funny how Nebraska fans think they're still this blue blood that still has a ton of pull. Matt isn't going anywhere. Yes they'll definitely give him a call, but Matt will be Matt and politely turn down the offer while giving Trev Alberts a pep talk that will make him want to run through a brick wall.
I sat thru the Walden, Criner, and Czcik (?) years and celebrate these last few years of football, Enjoy it while you can. Remember the Prohm and Trickey BB teams?
Nebraska reminds me a bit of Indiana basketball fans. They think they still move the needle in college sports when in truth they are largely irrelevant outside of their own heads.
What is that suppose to mean? I don't think Campbell and Prohm are anything alike. Campbell built this program, Prohm was handed the keys to a sports car and told not to crash it.

Pretty much this. I honestly believed Campbell was going to be at ISU for a long time as long as he was successful, that he wasn’t going to be pulled away easily, but when he wouldn’t even take interviews for Michigan St, USC(? - was that real?), Detroit Lions, and other places… well, how can I not think he wants to stay at ISU regardless of what the national media and rival fans have convinced themselves is going to happen.
He did say "consistently well".
Consistently well, ISU churns our nerdy engineers, drinks Busch Lite, and generally avoids stepping on the Zodiac.
Inbounds play consultant. My favorite play he wrote up was bouncing the ball off Woodbury's butt.
I think the only person concerned was the Nebraska fan that was concerned that CMC would go to Nebraska because he felt CMC isn't good enough for Nebraska.
