Fidone has been injury prone ever since he has been at NU. Maybe a "change" of scenery would cure this.
I hope we get Dacoldest based solely on his name. Nebraska gets decent recruits. We could use a few of them in Ames.
7-7 would probably be the final score. There's no ties in football, but after 80 overtimes and neither team scores, the refs will call it a tie.

I don't disagree with you... but at the same time if you can out bid your competitor by 2-3 million a year and you're someone whose looking long term down the road... then money does matter.
I agree, the issue at Nebraska isn't money. If they realize that, maybe they get the hire right. If they think money alone solves it, then I bet they won't.

Not that I think he'd go to Nebraska but that'd be one thing. Even if he ever did leave which I seriously doubt at this point - it wouldn't be for a school we're going to see on our schedule and a in-state rival. That is freaking insane "reporting".

Nebraska's last 3 coaches, at least, haven't been ready for major cfb. But doesn't matter, because Nebraska plays in the West Division
Disagree a little on Mike Riley. I think he was ready - he just wasn't a good fit. And Pelini from a X and O stand point was fine - he was just insane and bat crap crazy. Frost I agree, was not ready.

and yeah, even if Nebraska was favored in the last five years if we played, but we certainly win at LEAST 4 of those games if not all 5.
Trev wanted to let him go after last year. Osborne intervened and requested another year. Why they thought making him dump some assistants and replacing them with new guys that had less than a year to come up to speed be a successful idea just gives you insight into the dysfunction in Lincoln.
Nebraska's run defense is a lot of first contact 4-6 yards past the line of scrimmage. It's as soft as I remember seeing a power conference team look.
Iowa should just direct snap to a running back and not play a QB. Honestly I think they should've done that against ISU. The 2-3 times the running back actually passed would've been a big surprise and bigger chance at a big play than a Petras pass.
If this was 2020, I think both Nebraska and Iowa would **** can their seasons, blame it on COVID, and then declare they would've won 10 games in January.

It's the Nebraska way. They did the same thing to Solich when Pelini was brought in as DC after some of the existing staff was let go.
Urban Meyer coaching at Nebraska would be such an epic failure.
