***NCAA Championship Game Thread***

When was the last time we have hosted the defending national champs in the non-conference?

I went through every year and found that we have played the defending champ in non-conference 3 times, but have never hosted. The only time we have ever hosted was against Kansas.

AT Michigan 1989-90
AT UCLA 1971-72
AT UCLA 1967-68

(If anyone else can find it, please let me know.)

So if Michigan wins tonight, we will host the defending champ for the first time in school history next season.

"Quagmire" knows more about these two teams than the rest of those guys put together. Personally, I'm a fan of Doug Gottlieb, but I can see how he would rub people the wrong way. Nobody can question his knowledge of the game though.

He knows more about these teams but much less about basketball than Kenny and Charles.

I was just commenting because he looks like a bobblehead waiting to speak.
