NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

Re: ***OFFICIAL NBA FINALS GAME 7 DISCUSSION***

David Stern called... He wants a close game but wants LeFlop to obtain his 2nd ring.

I would like to see the Spurs win too,but Stern and his officials will not allow it,then again my conspiracy theory may be way off.

They key for this game is can Danny Granger get semi-open three point looks and can he make them.

Probably a typo but just in case...

I can't post a video on my phone but will later tonight. It's quotes of former and current players talking about the conspiracy.

I don't get why Stern would want Miami to win. I understand why people would think he wants Miami in the Finals, but the NBA is going to get a lot more attention this offseason if the Spurs win. There will be tons of speculation on LeBron's legacy and the future of the big three in Miami.

If the Heat win though, it's just another notch on LeBron's belt and solidifies the Heat as a dynasty. In terms of getting attention for his league during the summer and fall, it's a no brainer that he would want the Spurs to win.

The problem with the Stern conspiracy theories for THESE finals is that he is retiring. Now certain events during his tenure.....

Are you actually serious with this?

The nba chose to market personalities rather than teams a long time ago. People are trained to follow stars. They are fed commercials, products and told that the merit of the player and team is based upon tv ratings.

Here's a guy that actually said his dream finals would be the Lakers vs the Lakers.

Add the fact that there is a LeBron shoe due out with back to back champion on it, and you think this is on the up and up?

You probably think Tim donaghy acted as a rogue official.

You keep topping yourself hawk jack.I wasn't sure it was possible

Nothing you said disagreed with my post. The NBA's biggest star is LeBron, people love to root against LeBron. Watching him come up short again leads to an entire off season full of more drama. Stern already got 7 games of Miami in the Finals, that's his ideal scenario for this season.
