NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

Pacers fan in the sense that I like them in the East and hoiberg and miller. heat hater because I hate bandwagon fans which every single heat fan outside of Florida is (for the most part). Nobody "grew up a heat fan" or mentions Glenn Rice as their favorite Heat player.

Vogel said that he took him out w/ 5 fouls and liked the way the unit was playing w/out him so he stuck w/ it, makes sense.

That was probably the greatest inbounds play of all time, and so simple. I dont know that anyone could have defended that w/out fouling. Im not to upset with it because I feel it should have been a foul on whoever dove on the heat player after the lose ball. I also dont think it was a foul on the 3 (however they did call the one on the pacers in the first half so at least it was consistant).

Anyone else here a Pacers fan? Or are most of you guys just anti-Heat fans? Just wondering the demographics here.

Long time Pacers fan going back to the days of the Reggie/Smits/Davis teams. Indy's timing sucks. Their best team in their NBA franchise history couldn't get over the hump against MJ and Scottie in '98 during the Bulls' last title run. Ffiteen years later, they're in a very similar spot. This is their best team in a long time, and once again they run into a team that just happens to trot out two of the all time greats at the shooting guard and small forward positions. I think they're going to make Miami earn it, but I just can't see them winning more than two games in this series.

I don't hate Lebron; if you're a basketball fan, how can you hate a guy that can pretty much put up a triple double in his sleep? He's a one of a kind athlete. I could do without the flopping and selling contact, but that's a small criticism. Too bad he doesn't realize that in the NBA, stars get the calls. He doesn't need the theatrics.

Was a Pacers fan when they had Tinsley. Brawl at the Palace and Tinsley's struggles kinda sent me searching for a new team though. Went to a Bulls game for my birthday in '06 and have been a fan sense. Now just an anti-Heat fan. Also kinda like Paul George and his game.

God I hate Miami home games at the 2 minute mark when pa guy yells DOS!, Hey Jack this is America, want to speak Spanish go back to Mexico!

WOW, if you don't think the NBA is fixed you're probably an idiot. Three fouls in a row that are all just blatant game fixing. The cause? I guess it's a foul or a tech just to not be LeBron James.

Foul 1 - push off on LeBron, called a blocking foul, understandable
Foul 2 - tech for not being named LeBron James
Foul 3 - tech for complaining it's a foul to not be named LeBron James
Foul 4 - bs foul to get the game under control, game got out of control because of refs fixing the thing with 1, 2 and 3
