NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

Which one of those predictions did you not make? I'll link to the post if you want me to.

And Clippers-Nuggets in the WCF, ouch that's worse than I thought.

why are you taking so long to post the link? Can you not find it?

Brooklyn could be open, too. Even if they advance, I'd be surprised if they didn't can PJ.

good call, forgot about them and I agree PJ probably won't be retained.

As for Sloan, I think he'd be a better fit in middle america. Bucks could potentially be replacing most of their roster though so not sure if he'd want that job.

How many series do you guys think are going to end tonight? I think Memphis and New York finish the job, while the other series go to game 7.

CyJack seems to be banned. That's a darn shame.

I thought Jackson was going to be a club president. What I heard anyway. If Sloan really is coming back to coaching then SVG might take the Bucks job.

true, though Sloan will never work in Brooklyn. SVG would be pretty risky given his whole Dwight incident and what Deron WIlliams reportedly runs coaches out.

I think Jackson would love to be president but what roster was he ever responsible for building? He came in when the Bulls already had the core players that would win championships for him. Same for the Lakers.

I'd consider giving him a front office position but it would come with him agreeing to coach my team for a few years while he grooms a replacement.

Grizzlies will win, sucks cuz I picked Clippers. I think the Knicks win also. If the Pacers don't have their heads up their *** they should as well.

I doubt he'll want to coach, especially groom an assistant for the job. I can see him thinking of taking Brooklyn job but that's it.

My prediction for tonight is that all four series will get closed out tonight. I'll be rooting for game 7's but just don't think think it's gonna happen tonight.

Also, for the newly departed CyJack, Bill Simmons just called Spoelstra one of the four best coaches in the NBA in his most recent column.

I think memphis clinches. Boston and houston force game 7's. As for Indy, Atl I think Indy finally decides to show on the road and closes out the hawks.

bold is what's important.

So spolestra or Karl who's a better coach? I was just wondering this the other day.

While he is funny, half the time Sports Guy doesn't know what the **** he's talking about either.

I'm scared for the Bulls, though we were objectively at about 70% manpower last night and took the Nets wire to wire, so maybe we can win a game 7.

just got info from that source I gave you that Carlos Delfino is out for the rest of the playoffs with a bone fracture. He's not that good but he's a key member of that team.

Nate Robinson with 8 points in two possessions...reduced to just 3 by officiating errors. Not a good sign of how this game will go in spite of Brooklyn coming out their typical uninspired selves.

Not watching the game, but according to the updates it looks like the Bulls finished the half on a mini-tear and are up 61-44 at half.

Congrats on the big win Bulls fans. Going to need a fairly healthy roster in the next round though.
