I know he’s coming back from that hip injury so maybe don’t want to use him in a dual that is already decided unless he has another injury I don’t know about

Yeah…he’s not right. Didn’t look particularly good against Bellarmine. I mean, he won, but also got ridden like a mule.

Just to set the record straight, I don’t “dislike” Casey. I’m not actively rooting against him at all. I only care about our lineup, what’s best for it, and I like the potential of the lineup the way it is.

i agree except on block beating casey. merrill should stifle endenes offense and ride him out.

I don't dislike Casey as a person this is just simple sports fandom. When one of your former guys talks smack about another team and then you find out the deals were done to get him to transfer there during that time you just like to talk a little smack about them when they are wrestling. Beyond that I don't have anything bad to say about Casey.

Paniro and JFrost have looked good for us so far. Personal opinion only, but perhaps Casey saw the writing on the wall and was left with a choice. A) take a bag of cash and go to OSU or B) ride the pine at ISU. I know I'd probably have chosen the same.

Casey struggled yesterday and I think Block is a tough matchup for him. I was impressed by block yesterday, and Endene for that matter. Two matches I thought we’d coast in in two weeks look a lot tougher.

Casey didn’t want to have to wrestle off for a spot if he stayed. That’s not how we do things though.

Block has always been very very good, just cut way too much to get to 141
