Kid needed a change of scenery. We have a good kicker coming next year. It's been time to move on.

We are in good shape for next year, could of used him this year, but definitely wouldn't have recruited the #1 kicker if he were still here so maybe in the end for the best. Assalley is accurate, but is limited to about 40 yards, and we certainly could have used someone that could kick it out the back of the end zone.

Hahaha. Why? I suffered years and years of it. We lost a good kicker and kept a crappy one. You act like I didn’t attend my first game at Clyde Williams and have seen. I thing but horrible football for the most part.

Yeah, as good as clemson is, they still do the same thing sometimes, joking about 'clemsoning'

One of the best kickers in the history of Cyclone football missed an extra point at end of game in Clyde Williams to beat Nebby. Ended in a tie. He had made a crazy number in a row before that kick. I think Nebby was 1 or 2 in country at the time. Can you imagine the social media reaction if that happened today.

That game is when my fandom began. My 11 year old self hated Nebraska with a passion. I was happy with the tie, knowing how much it pissed off Nebraska just to almost lose.

20 PAT isn't an extraordinary streak.

So without a special teams coordinator.... do we even have a kicking specialist that works with the kickers and punters during practice.... working on their form, power, accuracy, etc?

Watching us kick and punt during games.... you would think that they aren't getting any coaching during the year.... just practicing by themselves during practice.
No they just go off and do their own thing. Sometimes they walk over and get sodas. Definitely no one from the staff works with them.

You do realize that just because there’s not a specific paid coach with the title doesn’t mean that there’s no one there to work with them, right?

okay so I know this is off topic so apologies but, I googled Reid Sinnett and I saw a pic of him at the senior bowl. He has the San Diego logo on the side of his helmet and an Iowa State one on the front, does anybody know why that would be?

It's common at all-star games. Guys bring a bunch of helmet decals from their school, and trade them around.

Heard one time they made a moped obstacle course.

what site has him listed as the #1 kicker?

I see on 247 he's #9 in the nation
