We say that every few years when we bring in another S&C coach...... "this will be the guy"!

What do you think of Andrews now that our regular season has concluded?

I'll disagree with that. It's not that obvious. I know that's where they are projecting him to play, but CAN he play that position? Does he have the speed? Change of direction? Can he play in space? I mean, you put him at Hummel's spot, can he do it? Seems to me to be a lot closer to Will McDonald than Hummel or Spears or Rose. Without McDonald's elite pass rushing ability. It will be interesting to watch...maybe he's a future OLB, but his path doesn't seem as obvious to me as some of the other guys. Now, LEO in a 4-2-5, I'd buy in a heartbeat.

Yep, not surprising. I hope it works out. I still think that he eventually ends up as a pass rushing DE. But, there's nothing wrong with starting at MIKE and seeing if he can do it. I just think that there's a big difference between him and an O'Rien Vance as far as instincts and mobility. But I'd be happy to be wrong. Happens all the time.

He seems a bit like Will McDonald to me. Rangy quick pass rusher that could stand to put on some serious muscle. We tried McDonald at linebacker for a bit before pulling the plug on that... Mendeszoon could follow a similar path?

I think that Myles has played a lot more football than Will had. Not so much coming at him brand new.

Plus, the linebacking corps is a bit thinner on numbers right now than the DL. Unlike when they just desperately needed to get Will on the field one way or another, Myles will have time to learn.
