Sorry to hear about that. It can't be easy for you. May your memories of him always be the best.
Sad news to here rux 
When my father past someone gave me a piece of advice that I have loved. I don't even remember who told me, but they said to tell one funny/ good story about my father for a week or more after he passed to other family members. And to never dwell on anything remotely negative.
Now that he has been gone for over 10 years it is those stories that I still remember the most. So odd that some other memories are fading.
