Montgomery or Hall?

Depends on the OL honestly.
Good OL - Breece
Bad OL - Montgomery
Good OL - Breece
Bad OL - Montgomery
Good OL - Montgomery
Bad OL - Montgomery

They are both really good at turning 5 yard losses into 2 yard gains.
Montgomery short yardage.
Breece if you need a 50 yd house call. They are different backs. David is really turning himself into a nice pro and that is awesome for our program (and RB recruits we engage with).
Better question for after this season.
Need to hold Hall out this week if he's indeed dinged up and find ways to let him dominate from Baylor on out.

Montgomery is so silky, but can break a tackle. He is keeping the Bears alive.

If Hall is dinged up, this the week to hold him out. Use Brock and others to get the job done.
Same with Kolar. Use Allen more then has happened ND finally show the talent of Dean that's been bragged about .
Montgomery has amazing feet and abruptness to his moves vs Hall is so fluid in his movement. Both able to dive forward to get extra yards
Since the question is who to take to create a dynasty I would go Montgomery because of his impact on changing our culture.
If I could only pick one it would be David Montgomery but I would take either one of them for my running back...Both Montgomery and Breece Hall are NFL quality running backs IMHO
I will say Breece Hall's mom is the sweetest lady I have met. She was taking pictures with Everyone Saturday and was so excited. So I just wanted to say that.
