Nothing except the MLB will look into after the game I believe. Never seen one overturned so I really don't know what would happen if they did.

UCards have denkinger calling Orta safe at first. It was a terrible call, but terrible calls happen all the time in baseball. They are just magnified in playoffs. When it is your team , you feel like it is an injustice and I felt that way in 1985. But the game must go on and for the fans to act the way they did was completely disgraceful.

Isn't great watching The Braves on TBS again just the 90's and early 2000's.....If TBS ever loses their MLB contract I sure hope TBS will get the Braves again...
Agree, if the Cards do win this one they will not get swept by the Nats. They may not win but it won't be a Nats domination.
The George Brett pine tar game was protested and then replayed from the point where the incident happened so it could potentially happen. I don't think there's any way that happens here. It looked like the wrong call to me but is a judgement call.

The TBS crew explained what will happen. What will be done is the MLB office will review this play and determine whether the blown call was significant enough to overturn the call. If the protest is upheld and the call is overturned, the portion of the game following the protest will be replayed - it will be the bottom of the 8th inning, bases loaded (the two original base runners at second and third plus the guy who hit the pop up at first), one out, and Motte on the mound. Here's the thing - the way the bottom of the 8th played out, the walk would have made it 6-4, and the strikeout would have made it only 2 outs with the bases still loaded.
As significant as it is, I can't imagine MLB overturning it.
See above. MLB can do something about it and has protocol in place.

Cards will have a tough time against the first 3 starters in the Nats' rotation. If you get by Edwin Jackson in game 3, maybe.
