Mizzou

Bumping this after the big win, let's fill Mizzou arena with Cyclones! Mizzou has sold out 3 games in a row so this game will also likely be a sell out. Get tickets while they are cheap!
Just bought two in section 217.

Apparently 204 and 217 are part of the student section, but we have assigned seats? This could get interesting

I’m going to be there too. Do they think Jaz will be back by then

Mizzou could lose four straight (TAMU, Florida, Arky, Bama) but luckily get Ole Miss right before ISU so that should get them a win and not have them completely pressing and desperate for a win when it comes to our game.

They're coming back down to earth.

A good offensive team (4th) that likes to push tempo and score in transition. A really poor defensive team (223rd). I would assume the game plan will be similar to how we played St Johns.. slow the pace, good shoot selection on our end, and prevent their transition opportunities. If we get into a track meet, we will lose.

Tough 3 game stretch for them upcoming.

It's funny - they just lost to the #64 KenPom team and their "tough stretch" is #49, #15 and #5 - before an easy game against #85.

Meanwhile we have #7, #8, #30 and #24 in our four games before Mizzou.

a "tough stretch" for a SEC team is just an average week in the Big XII

Actually thought this exact thing as I was typing it out lol

Florida is an NIT caliber team but that can be a tough road game. Alabama and Arkansas are both legit good teams. It would be a really good outcome for Mizzou to go 2-1 but 1-2 is probably more likely.

Alabama is really good. I watched some of their game last night against Arkansas. They were in control most of the gsme in a hostile road environment.

Arkansas cut it to 2 with like 4 minutes left, Oates called timeout to stop their run, then they promptly drained three 3s in about a minute of gametime to put them away.

Ugly game for them vs A&M

Agree, getting trounced by mediocre Texas A&M team. I realize it was at College Station and road games are hard to come by, but it wasn’t competitive at all. A win in Columbia looks better and better..
