Missing NW Iowa Men

Shortly after the body was found I heard that the field he was found in was mistakenly labeled as "already searched". Not making any accusation but that is quite the coincidence or a very poorly organized search. It's freaking Western Iowa every thing is relatively flat and laid out in squares or rectangles.
Western Iowa is not flat, north central is. GYST.;)

Sioux City Journal is claiming to have seen the death certificate. Cause of death is hypothermia due to acute methamphetamine intoxication.

As someone who suspected something more foul initially (but figured drugs were in the mix), chalk another up for Occam's Razor.

The first one is more correct. But you'll see the second limit more often.
The line between the Iowan Surface and Paleozoic plateau is strikingly close. The town I live in is literally on the edge and the west side of town is just basically unending flatness stretching west, and the east of town is the land rolling down to the Upper Iowa River.

That part of the state was always odd to me in this transitions.

So the guy was high on meth, pulled over probably to pee, and most likely couldn’t find his way back to the truck and froze to death. Sounds about right. Meth is a nasty drug.

From what I remember, "pulled over" would have to be used very loosely. He was not on the side of the road whatsoever. Which would lend credence to your last sentence, of course.

Edit
Schultz, a married father of twin boys, was last heard from in the early morning hours of Nov. 21. His red Peterbilt semi with white stripes was parked in the middle of the northbound lane of County Road N-14 (Union Avenue), not far from where it intersects with D-15 (190th Street). Schultz was nowhere to be found on that stretch of paved roadway, which is flanked by cornfields.
The truck was reportedly shut off, the lights were off and the key was in the ignition. Deputies found Schultz's wallet and cellphone inside. A towel, cellphone charger and pocketknife were found with his coat on the opposite side of the road, according to Sac County Sheriff Ken McClure

Trucker speed…wait till you hear about fighter pilots
Don’t want to go down the political route, but there was a former White House aid that named a drug that the doctors prescribe to our reps and White House staff/officials when they need them to stay focused. Forget the name of it right now.

Said it was the same thing they give to the bombers that fly bomber raids. And people wonder way so many of them seem unhinged.
