So stupid. This tournament should be happening, but Chicago's going to Chicago. Hope somehow some of these teams still get together and make these matches happen.

On that note, NCAA's better have a ******* backup plan in place for Detroit. Can't sit around and have rug pulled out from under you at the last minute.

Reports are that Midlands is happening. Same location just without Northwestern as the host or competing. It's being driven by Illinois Matmen, Willie and Izzy. I would assume Rokfin will now have some part in streaming it with Willie involved, if it does happen.

Cities that do this should be disqualified from hosting the event in the future.

Good! Hopefully most of the major teams make the trip still. Would laugh my ass off if the majority of the tough competition still shows up and the Hawks have a rinky dink open with a bunch of cupcakes. That'd be quintessential Brands to duck at the slightly inconvenience and have his guys wrestling D-III guys again.

This response makes no sense. Midlands was on Iowa’s schedule. Many teams who were going to Midlands are still going to compete against each other. Iowa is not going to show up. Those are the facts.
That’s just not the same as a normally scheduled completion against lower level teams.
