We stayed at the Key West Westin. Pretty nice though it basically served as a place to crash. Walked up and down Duvall many times, went on a sunset dinner cruise and a dolphin watching/ snorkeling trip. Highly recommend all of it.
Casa Marina Beach Resort on Key West and several places to eat. My favorite is One Duvall at Pier one hotel. The atmosphere is romantic with the dinner sunset beside the water and watching all the fish swim by at your table. Ask for a table by the water. Very Very pricey.

Its in Weston, which is NW of Miami....It's near all the interstates that connect Miami and Fort Lauderdale, the beaches are about 15-20 mins away which is the only downfall...Really nice resort overall with some solid amenities...When you're in the Keys, get some Frozen Key Lime Pie on a Stick, its awesome with its chocolate dipped shell

Every restaurant in Key West is pricey, aren't they? I think we managed to spend $85 on a breakfast for two.

To be fair, we didn't venture out of the Duvall St area for food, so I'm sure there is cheaper food when you get out of the tourist traps.
