Maybe not, though. Except for one, I suspect that these match pretty closely to state population.

Pretty sure that the state of Iowa is #1 in the country in terms of percentage of D-1 teams that made the MBB tournament. 75%!

My wife and I usually try to guess where universities are while the selection show happens. I've done pretty well, but there are always a few I struggle with. Furman, High Point and Queens tripped me up this year. I remembered Hofstra, Howard, Lehigh and Wright State, though
